Diamine has launched The Music Set; this is a fantastic new gift set that is based on the theme of famous music composers.

Inside the Diamine Music Set there are10 brand new fountain pen ink colours, these are in 30ml glass bottles, with each different colour named after a famous music composer.

The Composers are Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Handel, Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi & Wagner.

The Photo’s show the different ink bottles and their colour swatches. Please note that this is for a guide only as it is very difficult to reproduce an exact colour match on a computer monitor. In particular Schubert is more of a blue green colour than the blue displayed on the swatch.

We understand from Diamine that these colours are only going to be available in the Music Set. If you have purchased a music set you will be able to get refills for your set from the authorised dealers in the new year.

  1. My husband bought these for my birthday and I’m loving them. The Strauss is a nice brick red, not too vivid, so I’m using that as a “red”. Being “girlie” I have my pink Kaweco ICE sport loaded with Handel but my very posh Pelikan inked with Vivaldi, which looks more grey than purple. I’m using the Shubert as a lovely blue/green almost turquoise. The above colour on my screen looks way too blue, as already stated. The “Fountain Pen Network” have a good review on these inks too and the colours shown are a bit more true to life. Enjoy … I know I am 😀

  2. Ooooh! I hadn’t heard about these yet! Well, I’m a bit of a sucker maybe, but I wouldn’t mind having one of each. There’s really no inks that I dislike and no colours I don’t want, so… I best add these to my wish list early. I really like the Wagner though. Very unique!
