Uni Click BP Ballpoint Pen Review

I’ve yet to come across a ballpoint pen to get excited about, nevertheless they remain a popular choice with many. Undoubtedly they have come a long way since inventors finally cracked the problems with ink leaking & clogging, all those years ago.

Uni Click BP ballpoint pen

The Uni-Click BP is a retractable pen that writes a medium line through the 0.7mm tungsten carbide ball. With its ability to withstand lots of wear & tear tungsten carbide is thought to be a superior material by many in the manufacture of ballpoints. On the appearance front I’d say it has a macho look about it, with a cool black plastic barrel & ribbed rubber grip section. The nib housing, end cap & pocket clip have a highly polished finish & the centre of the barrel has a smoky transparent section ideal for keeping tabs on the ink level.

The performance of the Uni Click didn’t disappoint. This ballpoint produced a smooth line without smudging or blobbing.  The grip section was comfortable & my fingers rested in just the right place.  This is a contrast to some pens that I’ve found leave me with fatigue. The result of trying to compensate & rectify the effects of applying too much pressure when my fingers slip & end up resting too close to the nib.

The Uni Click – BP is available with black or blue ink, in packs of 3 or 36, its a reasonably priced everyday pen.
